Sopra le Mura is an original Design Hotel, in a Sicilian period building located in the old town centre of Castellammare del Golfo, just above the ancient city walls from which it inherits its name. The presence of the ancient city walls and the Arab-Norman Castle defines the old town where the Hotel is located, of which its renovation has tried to preserve and enhance the historical-architectural characteristics, also respecting the historical stratifications that have succeeded from the early 1600s to 1900s, using the most innovative anti-seismic consolidation techniques.

The façade and the perimetre walls of the period building are enhanced by the lighting system that is turned on at sunset, creating fascinating light. The interior of the building, welcoming, colourful and perfect, features elements of the Sicilian tradition to be discovered with an admirable attention to detail that will pleasantly impress you. The property is located in a limited trafic zone, a perfect location for visiting the harbour.
